Great Day for Miller in Ragin Cajuns Win
|
A 6-RBI performance from Dan Miller, who is tied for 4th in the RDL in RBI with 20, helped the Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns beat the Ole Miss Rebels, 11-6. Louisiana-Layfayette reliever Josh Moore picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Chris Loveridge took the loss. John Crouch earned the save for Louisiana-Layfayette, his 5th.
In the bottom of the first inning, Louisiana-Layfayette got a break when Miller went to the plate. With no outs, runners on 1st and 2nd and the Ragin Cajuns leading 1-0, Miller hit a 3-run home run.
"Good win for us," said Miller. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
The Ragin Cajuns, at 6-8, sit in 15th place in the Cliff Gustafson.
