Tigers Come Up Short at Texas
The Texas Longhorns did just enough to secure a 8-7 victory over the LSU Tigers at Ballpark of Celebration College. Nobody did more than left fielder Bobby Cahall, who captured player of the game honors. Texas is 5-9 and LSU, with the loss, 9-5.

The outcome might have been different had it not been for Cahall. In the bottom of the seventh inning, when the Longhorns were trailing 7-5, Cahall delivered a two-out 3-run home run for Texas, giving his team the lead.

"This is not a one-man show," said Cahall. "A lot of the guys stepped up."
