Tigers Get One-Run Win at Ohio State
Adam Extine pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Ohio State Buckeyes, despite Extine's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Auburn Tigers at Ballpark of Bloomfield College. The Tigers, at 10-3, lead by one game in their division.

Chipping in for Auburn was center fielder Scott Bucey. He stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the second. For the game, Bucey was 1-2.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Bucey told the Auburn Gazette.
