Golden Bears Lose Again, 3-1, to Ducks
|
Chad McCarty pitched well, but the California Golden Bears still lost the game, falling 3-1 to the Oregon Ducks at Crunch Ballpark. Oregon reliever Donnie Bower picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Chad McCarty absorbed the loss. The losing skid has reached 6 games for California.
One significant plate appearance for Oregon came with one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. Ducks second baseman Cody Yost grounded out, driving in 1 run, which helped Oregon go on to win.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Yost told the Oregon Bulletin.
