Behind Johnson, Cowboys Beat Tigers, 2-1

In a well-pitched game between the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Clemson Tigers, pitcher Brett Johnson was fantastic. The Oklahoma State right-hander was named the player of the game in Oklahoma State's 2-1 win. Oklahoma State is now 7-6.
Though he didn't earn the victory, Johnson kept his team in the game until the bullpen took over and the Oklahoma State offense came through. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 2 hits and 1 run, while striking out 10.
"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Johnson after the game.
