Hurricanes Deal Razorbacks 4-2 Setback
Miami Hurricanes starter Gabe George pitched a strong game against the Arkansas Razorbacks at Gremlins Ballpark, leading the Hurricanes to a 4-2 win. Miami reliever Ross Strauss was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Lance Robinson took the loss for Arkansas. The Hurricanes raised their record to 8-5.

Miami took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With two out, catcher Rich Groves hit a 2-run home run that amped up the crowd.

"I like what I saw today," said Miami manager Leslie Hanson, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
