The rain came, as predicted, but the Alabama Crimson Tide and Missouri Tigers were able to complete their ballgame.

A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Eric Blatter, who is tied for 3rd in the SBL in triples with 1, led the Alabama Crimson Tide to a 7-1 win over the Missouri Tigers. Alabama is now 6-7.

Blatter was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice against the Tigers. With the game tied in the bottom of the second inning, he hit a 2-run home run that scored 2 and put Alabama in front, 2-0.

"It makes it a little nicer in the clubhouse when we win," said Blatter. "It eases the tension."
