Brooklyn wasted a solid 6.2-inning effort from starting pitcher Tomás Bravo, losing to Seattle, 2-1, at Blue Ivy Stadium. Matt Nolan got the win, improving to 6-1. He held the Black Knights to 1 earned run on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3. The last-place Sasquatch improved to 29-40.
Jesús Lópes put Seattle in front, 2-1, when he hit a 2-run home run off Tomás Bravo in the top of the sixth. It was his 12th home run of the season.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Sasquatch manager Carl Best, "I like our chances."
