Bernardin goes 3-for-5 to Power Tigers Offense
|
The Clemson Tigers dealt the Florida Gators a 8-4 loss at Ballpark of Bismarck College. Omar Bernardin was the star on offense. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Mike Justice got the win, improving to 1-0. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. The Tigers improve their record to 3-9 with the win over Florida.
Bernardin provided the big break for the Tigers in the top of the second inning. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing double, helping Clemson to get the win.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Bernardin said.
