The USC Trojans walked off with a big win today at Nesquehoning College Fields.

The USC Trojans got a hard-earned win over the Arizona Wildcats, 10-9, in 17 innings. Nick McCarrick provided some offensive muscle for USC. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Justin Larson got credit for the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings.

The game came to an abrupt end with two out in the bottom of the 17th. On a pitch from Dave Rombach, Dusty Bonar hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It gave USC the 10-9 walk-off win.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said USC field general Tommy Hayes.

At 7-5, USC is in 9th place in the Cliff Gustafson.
