Getting an impressive start from Brad Brose, Wake Forest beat Kansas by the score of 4-2. Vic Horn closed the door for Wake Forest, picking up his 3rd save of the year. The 20th-place Jayhawks have dropped 5 straight games.
Flexing his muscles for Wake Forest was Kyle Marigliano. The second baseman had a solo home run in the top of the first for the Demon Deacans. It put his team ahead, 1-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Marigliano was 1 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch.
