Multi-HR Day for Ballentine as Cyclones Overpower Razorbacks, 8-4
The Iowa State Cyclones stopped the Arkansas Razorbacks, 8-4, at Ramparts Ballpark. The Cyclones got a big game from Jamie Ballentine, who went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Iowa State reliever Ayden Dixon was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Kenny Bahr took the loss for Arkansas. Jason Allen finished to wrap up his 1st save.

Ballentine in the top of the second had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Cyclones leading 2-1, he hit a 3-run home run.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Ballentine.

The Cyclones improved to 6-4.
