Sangameswar Delivers Walk-Off Win for Rhinos
Fans of the Rubber City Rhinos who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Rubber City win over the visiting Dallas Texans, 5-4. James Thompson started for the home team against Toin Hara. James Thompson earned the coveted player of the game honors. Rubber City reliever John Cosman picked up the win to move to 1-0. Harsha Majoo suffered the loss.

Rubber City won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With one out and Harsha Majoo on the mound for Dallas, third baseman Avatsara Sangameswar hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Rhinos fans to their feet.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Rubber City manager Larry Johnson.
