Bulldogs Win in Glorious Fashion
The Bulldogs had to overcome a good performance from Clemson pitcher Ben Matthews to claim a 4-3 win at Field of the Plunder. Matthews went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Georgia reliever Tim Bogle picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. John Tallent shouldered the loss. The Bulldogs, with only their 2nd win in 9 games, have not had much to write home about in 2032.

The game came to an abrupt end with two out in the bottom of the ninth. On a pitch from John Tallent, Jerry LeGore got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run. It gave Georgia the 4-3 walk-off win.

LeGore told the Georgia Citizen: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
