David Pensabene pitched well, but his team, the Baylor Bears, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Arizona State Sun Devils at Ballpark of Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley College. The save went to Bob Clayton, his 2nd this season. The loss drops Baylor to 2-5.

One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third inning. Facing Baylor hurler David Pensabene, Sam Henderson, who is the 4th-best prospect in the Sun Devils organization, hit a sacrifice fly. The Sun Devils went on to win.

"The guys seem happy with the win. That's good, I guess," said Henderson.
