Houston rode a decent outing from starter Chris Durkin to victory over the Washington State Cougars at Suns Ballpark. The final score was 4-3. With the loss, Washington State is 3-4.

The Cougars got a big boost from right fielder Andrew Clark who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the sixth inning off Cougars hurler Bryan Beck. It was his 3rd walk of the season and put Houston on top, 4-3.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Clark.
