Tigers Sneak Past Yellow Jackets, 7-6
The Missouri Tigers overcame a good performance by Georgia Tech second baseman David Corey to knock off Georgia Tech, 7-6, at Ballpark of Ridge College. Corey went 3-7 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Missouri reliever Jared Isom got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Josh Neuhaus was tagged with the loss. The win moves Missouri to a record of 2-3.

Late in the game, second baseman John Sepulveda had a big at-bat for Missouri. In the bottom of the 17th, he hit a run-scoring triple off Josh Neuhaus. The play gave the Tigers a 7-6 lead.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Sepulveda said.
