Muller 3-4, Seminoles Move to 4-1
|
Florida State right fielder Walt Muller played a vital role in his team's 11-6 triumph over Miami. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for Florida State. Losses have been few and far between for the Hurricanes, who are now 4-1.
Florida State took a 8-6 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, catcher Darrin Silberman hit a 2-run home run that electrified the crowd.
"This is not a one-man show," said Muller. "A lot of the guys stepped up."
