Cowboys Win at Florida, 4-2
|
Oklahoma State right fielder Josh Teacher was instrumental in his team's 4-2 win over the Florida Gators. Teacher went 4-5 with no runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cowboys. Alvin Sheldon earned his 1st save in 1 tries. Oklahoma State is now 2-2.
Teacher contributed when he hit a run-scoring triple in the top of the seventh. Coming with one out and a runner on 1st, the triple proved to be critical to helping Oklahoma State get the win.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Florida skipper Torazo Yamamoto, "and it cost us."
