The Wake Forest Demon Deacans handed the Michigan Wolverines a sound defeat, 11-3, at Siege Ballpark. Lance Allen was a main contributor to the win. He went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Wake Forest. With the loss, Michigan sinks to 0-3.

The Demon Deacans used some clutch hitting to beat the Wolverines, a good example being the at-bat of Jim Baker in the top of the fifth. With two down, Baker gave his team the lead, 2-0, when he hit a 2-run single.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Allen.
