Bruins Come Back Late to Clip Aggies
Texas A&M got a terrific performance from pitcher Steve Skow, but it wasn't enough to beat the UCLA Bruins. UCLA won the Sooners Ballpark contest, 7-4. Skow was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 5 innings of 3-hit ball. Matt Ryder was credited with the save for UCLA, his 1st of the season. The loss drops Texas A&M to 0-2.

Chris Fleming's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a fastball from Aaron Harden for a run-scoring single. It put UCLA in front, 5-4.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Fleming said after the game.
