The Brooklyn Black Knights grabbed a 6-1 win over the New York Mafia at Blue Ivy Stadium. Brooklyn second baseman Nobuhisa Ito went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 to earn player of the game honors. This loss makes it 7 in a row for New York.

Rob Koller contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, he grounded out, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that helped send Brooklyn to the win.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said New York manager Roberto Campos.
