The Texas Longhorns put one in the win column on Opening Day at Ballpark of Celebration College. The Longhorns defeated the Arizona Wildcats, 8-3. Texas left fielder Bobby Cahall was instrumental in his team's success. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Earning his 1st save of the year was Justin Henderson.

Cahall contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With the bases empty, he hit a solo home run. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Texas get the win.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Cahall told the Texas Times.
