Sting Walk Off with Win
It was pandemonium at Woodland Park after an exciting walk-off win.

The Sting had to overcome a fine effort from Eugene pitcher Francisco Bibian to grab a narrow 3-2 win at Woodland Park. Bibian went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Houston is now 76-83.

The Sting were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when first baseman Steve Pollard turned a first pitch fastball from Hiroo Okimura into a 2-run single. The walk-off single electrified the Woodland Park denizens and sent the Sting home with a thrilling 3-2 win.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Pollard said.
