Brisbane got an elite performance from starting pitcher Félix Ruíz in taking a 8-1 decision over the St. Petersburg Pelicans. Ruíz picked up the win for Brisbane, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 5-3.
