Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Devon LeBrecht, the Coney Island Cyclones defeated the Kingwood Knights, 8-5. LeBrecht went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Cyclones. With the win, Coney Island goes to 62-95, while the Knights fall to 71-85.

Coney Island took a 7-5 lead on LeBrecht's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Aaron Burrell in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Coney Island to the win.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" LeBrecht told the Coney Island Citizen. "You win just by scoring more runs."
