Tsuruta Shines in Mustangs Win
The San Angelo Mustangs stymied the Boise Bloodhounds, 7-1, at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Takashi Tsuruta, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for San Angelo. San Angelo reliever Omar Mendez picked up the win, upping his record to 5-2.
