In a well-pitched game between the Barrow Frosties and the St. Petersburg Pelicans, pitcher Ryuya Kondo was fantastic. The Barrow right-hander was named the player of the game in Barrow's 3-1 win. Juan Salinas was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 18 of 19 save opportunities. The Frosties, now 95-58, have won 4 in a row.

A decisive at-bat came in the bottom of the sixth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the batter, Ricardo Rivadeneyra, hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 2-1, Barrow, and helped them go on to win.

"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped St. Petersburg manager Clement Snow. "Obviously."
