The exploits of center fielder Mike Brockett, who is tied for 10th in the BOL in bases on balls with 69, helped the Victoria Vikings defeat the Boise Bloodhounds, 5-2. Brockett went 3-3 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Victoria leads the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division by 4 games.

Mel Dominguez contributed an important at-bat in the top of the sixth. With a runner on 1st, he drew a walk. It was one at-bat that helped send Victoria to the win.
