Saints Win at Chippewa, 10-5
|
Chippewa got a terrific game from left fielder Chris Reddy. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to St. Paul, 10-5. Reddy was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Sergio Solis got the win, improving to 4-7. He worked 5 innings, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 4. St. Paul is now 68-83, Chippewa 95-55.
Paul Nolan in the top of the second had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Saints leading 1-0, the St. Paul catcher drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said St. Paul manager Ismael Rodríguez.
