|
Brisbane Bush Wackers starter Félix Ruíz was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Barrow Frosties, 5-2. Brisbane is now 96-53, 5 games up in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, David Newsome went deep for the Bush Wackers. With Brisbane trailing 1-0, he drilled a solo home run.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Ruíz said.
