Brisbane had no answer for Tree City Black Squirrels hurler Charlie Wife, who overwhelmed Bush Wackers hitters as the Black Squirrels coasted to a 8-1 victory. Tree City reliever Charlie Wife was credited with the win, to go to 4-1. Miguel Torres took the loss for Brisbane.

The Black Squirrels picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Pete Barrett.

Tree City is now 94-52, 9 games up in the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division.
