|
Grant Huffman never let the Gnats get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his change up, to pitch the Bush Wackers to a 4-1 win. Huffman, the winner, moves to 14-5. He threw 5.1 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. Brisbane leads the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division by 3˝ games.
In the bottom of the second, with Brisbane leading 1-0, Daniel Cruz hit a cutter from J.J. Cassidy for a 2-run single, giving the Bush Wackers the lead, 3-0.
