Gnats Edge Brisbane in Pitching Duel

Camilo Pascual pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Brisbane Bush Wackers, despite Pascual's fine outing, dropped a 1-0 decision to the Nichols Gnats at Baylor Ballpark. At 42-101, the Gnats find themselves in 5th place in the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division.
In the top of the third, Dermott Glennon hit a run-scoring single for Nichols. The 99th hit of the season for the Nichols center fielder put the Gnats on top, 1-0.
"Wish we'd had more wins to celebrate like this one," said Glennon.
