River Chiefs Shut Out Dancin' Outlaws
The first-place Chippewa River Chiefs welcomed West Virginia to The Reservation.

Pablo Martínez pitched a gem to lead Chippewa to a 4-0 victory over the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws. At 89-51, the River Chiefs have a slim two-game lead in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division.

Ben Eisner put Chippewa in front, 3-0, when he took Cesar Garcia downtown. His 2-run home run came with one out in the bottom of the third. It was his 5th home run of the season.

Eisner attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
