Losing Streak Continues for Pelicans with 8-7 Loss to Blue Claws
The Baltimore Blue Claws eked out a 8-7 win versus the St. Petersburg Pelicans at Old Bay Park. Nobody did more than center fielder Bailey Hardingham, who captured player of the game honors. Shu-de Tian got credit for the save for Baltimore. It was his 16th of the year. St. Petersburg is in the throes of a 9-game skid.

Hector Diaz contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that helped Baltimore get the win.

"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Clement Snow, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
