Head Leads Knights to Win over Vikings
A 3-RBI performance from Eric Head, who is tied for 4th in the BOL with a .341 batting average, helped the Kingwood Knights beat the Victoria Vikings, 7-5. Kingwood reliever Jeff Bearce picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-9. Peter Densem was collared with the loss. The Knights improve their record to 65-72 with the win over Victoria.

A key moment came when Head faced Victoria hurler Peter Densem in the bottom of the sixth. The Knights, who were trailing 5-4, had runners on 2nd and 3rd. Head got a 1-0 fastball and hit a 3-run home run.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Head.
