Knights Knock Off Jedi Knights at Stable Park
|
The Kingwood Knights knocked off the New Orleans Jedi Knights, 7-3, at Stable Park. Eric Head, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Kingwood won. The catcher was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Kingwood now sits at 63-71, while New Orleans falls to 78-55.
Paul Dannemiller contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the second. With the bases loaded, he grounded out, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that helped send Kingwood to the win.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Kingwood manager Barry Bowman.
