The Boise Bloodhounds and Houston Sting brought some excitement to Grand Canyon Valley Park.

Boise left fielder Darrell Prince had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-5, to Houston at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Prince went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Jeff Van Wormer nailed down his 4th save.

In the top of the fifth inning, the Sting grabbed the lead when Steve Pollard rapped a two-out single. Houston was trailing 5-4, when Pollard hit a 2-run single off Justin Bolling to put his team in front, 6-5.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play ever better," said Houston manager Héctor Flores.

The 4th-place Sting have won 4 straight.
