Head Excels in Kingwood Win
Kingwood catcher Eric Head was instrumental in his team's 9-4 win over the Stroudsburg Shade. Head, who is tied for 6th in the BOL with a .535 slugging percentage, went 2-3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Knights. Kingwood reliever Steve Vincent got the win, raising his record to 5-4. Danny Medina was tagged with the loss. The misery continues for the Shade, which has now dropped 10 in a row.

The Knights got a lift from left fielder Earl George who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Danny Medina. It was his 45th walk of the season and put Kingwood in front, 1-0.

"This losing is getting old," said Stroudsburg manager Juan Rivera.
