It was a fun time at The Pond, where the Barrow Frosties and Nichols Gnats tangled.

Nichols starter Tsugunao Carroll pitched effectively against the Barrow Frosties at The Pond. The right-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. The Frosties, at 79-47, have lost 4 straight games.

David Rivera had a productive at-bat for the Gnats with two out in the bottom of the seventh. With the bases loaded, the third baseman hit a 2-run single. The at-bat was important in the Nichols win.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Rivera told the Nichols Daily News.
