The Victoria Vikings put together a convincing win at The Barn, defeating the Winfield Warriors, 11-1. Jian Gang Sato was one of the hitting stars. He went 3-5 with a triple and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for Victoria. Jack Thompson got the win, improving to 4-3. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 3 hits and no runs, while striking out 7 and walking 2. The first-place Vikings now have a 11-game winning streak.

The Vikings had to work out of trouble with no one out in the bottom of the eighth. The score was 9-0, Victoria. But Winfield, with runners on 1st and 2nd, had mounted a threat. David Morales dug in at the plate. But on a 1-1 fastball, Morales hit into a double play.
