The Chippewa River Chiefs met little resistance from the Kingwood Knights, beating them 11-3 at The Reservation. Miguel Rangel led the way. He went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Chippewa. Don Wheeler got the win, improving to 7-5. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. The River Chiefs own a robust 78-45 mark.
