Warriors Pull Even With 5-2 Victory
|
Though he had a great game, Bob Wright could not single-handedly produce a win for San Angelo. Winfield won the game, 5-2. Wright was named the player of the game. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Augusto Pacheco earned the win to go to 1-3. He allowed 2 earned runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts. Mike Mitchell closed the game out for Winfield, earning his 8th save.
Josh Maillard did his part for the Warriors, producing a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning. For the game, the third baseman went 2-4 with 2 singles.
