Win Streak Now at 9 for Dancin' Outlaws
|
The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws used an offensive barrage to beat the Stroudsburg Shade, 10-0, at Tim Raines Stadium. Chris McNair led the way, going 3-for-4 for West Virginia. Jesús Tobías earned the win for West Virginia. He lasted 6 innings, allowing no earned runs on 3 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 2-6. The save was credited to Takeo Takano, his 2nd.
There was more than one reason the Dancin' Outlaws beat the Shade, but McNair's big at-bat in the top of the first was an important factor. He staked his team to a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run home run.
"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Enrique Ramírez.
West Virginia has now reeled off 9 straight wins.
