Nishida Goes Wild, But Frosties Win
Palm Beach got a terrific game from second baseman Terumoto Nishida. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Barrow, 12-11. Nishida was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Earning his 12th save of the year was Juan Salinas. The slumping Bums have dropped 6 in a row.

Barrow pinch hitter Danny Melo said he wanted to hit the ball hard when he batted in the top of the eighth. He not only hit it hard, he hit a sinker from Charlie Cruz deep for a 2-run home run. It resulted in a 12-11 lead for Barrow.

Palm Beach manager Juan Carlos Serrano expressed his frustration after the game: "That many runs and it still wasn't enough?"
