The Dallas Texans and Seattle Sasquatch put on a pitchers' duel at Sick's Stadium.

Paul Johnston never let Seattle get something going. The Dallas right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Texans to a 2-0 win. The Texans bumped their record to 32-27 with this latest triumph.

Johnston dominated for Dallas, raising his record to 4-7. Seattle hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 5.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Johnston.
