The rain at Envoys Ballpark did not keep Stroudsburg and Palm Beach from finishing their game.

Stroudsburg starter Danny Medina put a stranglehold on the Palm Beach offense. The right-hander had complete command of his change up in leading the Shade to a 4-0 win. The winning pitcher was Medina, now 3-3. He tossed 5.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 3.

Rudy Murphy contributed an important at-bat in the top of the eighth. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat that helped send Stroudsburg to the win.

Medina told the Stroudsburg Gazette: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."

The Shade are now 53-58, while the Bums fall to 49-67.
