Cyclones Rally For Late Win Over Saints
Neil Coffin was superb against St. Paul. The right-hander had a change up that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 3-2 Cyclones victory. Coney Island reliever Steve Misiak picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Pierson McClelland absorbed the loss. Coney Island, at 51-62, sits in 4th place in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 2-2, pinch hitter Bill Ottinger won it for Coney Island. With the bases loaded, Ottinger hit a 2-1 fastball from Pierson McClelland for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 3-2 win.

"I had a good game plan," said Coffin. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Gerald Pugh said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
