Dancin' Outlaws Roll to 9-2 Win Over Emeralds
The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws downed the Eugene Emeralds, 9-2, at Penlee Park. The Dancin' Outlaws were led by Chris McNair, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI. Takeo Takano got credit for the win, improving to 11-7. He allowed no runs on 5 hits in 3.2 innings. West Virginia is now 55-57, while Eugene is 47-63.

McNair contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for West Virginia in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, McNair took a fastball from Chris Connel and stroked the double to center. His 11th double of the season allowed the Dancin' Outlaws to leap in front, 2-1.

"We looked pretty good up and down," said West Virginia manager Enrique Ramírez.
